B and C) Observed distributions of PEG8-VS/PEG8-amine microspheres formed from pre-reacted solutions of PEG8-VS and PEG8-amine (dPCS ≅ 100 nm) diluted to 2% (w/v) in PBS + 0.6 M sodium sulfate and incubated at 37°C for 45 min at: (B) 7.4 (C) 8.5. Histograms were constructed using 100 bins for 500 randomly selected microspheres for each pH.
