(A) SIRT6 regulates NF-κB-dependent apoptosis resistance. pSR and S6 sh2 cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids and a GFP-expression plasmid. Transfected (GFP-positive) apoptotic cells were identified by nuclear morphology (DAPI-staining; mean ± s.e.). * indicates transfected, apoptotic cells. TUNEL analysis confirmed that cells with pyknotic nuclei were undergoing apoptosis (data not shown).
