Truncation reveal vesicle motif. A, HeLa cells were transfected on coverslips with the indicated plasmids. Twenty-four hours later cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with Alexa488 labeled anti-Tac. Single slice images (0.8 μM) were taken on a Zeiss LSM510 Meta with a 63x objective and images were compiled in Photoshop. B, HeLa cells were transfected in 6 well plates and 24 hours later harvested for glycosylation analysis as in Figure 2.
