The percentage of two-component subnetworks for which multiple equilibria can be ruled out, based on INJ analysis of ~15,000 randomly selected subnetworks (see text). Results are grouped according to the number of dimer-binding reactions in each subnetwork. Brackets indicate bootstrap 95% confidence intervals calculated by sampling with replacement 10,000 times. Overall, the capacity for multiple equilibria is ruled out by the INJ method for 6.71% [6.31%, 7.11%] of sampled subnetworks.
