Bootstrap analysis results for two-component regulatory subnetworks

# dimers binding % of total models % with multiple equilibria ruled out
0 0.8 26.2 [19.0, 34.4]
1 4.8 19.8 [17.1, 22.9]
2 14.5 12.6 [11.3, 14.1]
3 25.5 8.9 [8.1, 9.9]
4 28.8 4.1 [3.5, 4.7]
5 19.1 1.4 [1.0, 1.9]
6 6.5 0.0

The percentage of two-component subnetworks for which multiple equilibria can be ruled out, based on INJ analysis of ~15,000 randomly selected subnetworks (see text). Results are grouped according to the number of dimer-binding reactions in each subnetwork. Brackets indicate bootstrap 95% confidence intervals calculated by sampling with replacement 10,000 times. Overall, the capacity for multiple equilibria is ruled out by the INJ method for 6.71% [6.31%, 7.11%] of sampled subnetworks.
