In some units DCN units trigeminal ganglion stimulation enhances responses to sound. Design of figure as Figure 8. Enhancement of almost 200% occurs during the period 150–200 ms and enhancement of almost 100% occurs during the period 100–150 ms in this unit, indicating a more rapid effect than demonstrated for the suppression in Fig. 8.
