10⁶ purified DC progenitors were cultured in medium supplemented with 1000U/ml of GM-CSF. Media and sera used are shown above and described in the Material and Methods. On day 6 of culture nonadherent and loosely attached cells were gently rinsed off the plates and DC numbers were determined by Trypan Blue exclusion. The data are expressed as mean ± SD of five independent experiments.
