Effect of ZnSO₄ and/or carmustine (BCNU) on short-term memory (STM) in rats. Data are presented as mean ± SEM (n = 10) and analyzed using Graph Pad Instat software by one way ANOVA followed by Tukey Kramer post-test. ZnSO₄ was injected as a single dose (0.1 µmol/10 µl saline, i.c.v). BCNU was injected in a single dose (20 mg/kg i.v). STM was assessed after 30 min from leaning phase by using radial arm water maze where the number of errors for each group was calculated to indicate STM behaviour.
