K_f is the Freundlich sorption coefficient [(mg/kg)/(mg/L)^N].

K_d is the sorption coefficient calculated from the slope of the linear isotherms due to (practically) linear sorption.

K_oc = K_d / f_oc; where f_oc is the organic carbon content of sorbent.
