GW4064 treatment led to up-regulation of DDAH-1 mRNA expression and increased DDAH activity in human hepatoma cells (HepG2) and human proximal tubular epithelial cells (HKC-8). HepG2 or HKC-8 cells were treated with DMSO or various concentrations of GW4064.
