Wild-type cells were grown in SDcasaWUA medium supplemented or not with MPA. Internal adenylic and guanylic nucleotides were measured as previously described (Breton et al. 2008; Gauthier et al. 2008). (B and C) Transcriptional response to guanylic nucleotide depletion obtained by MPA treatment, amd1 deletion, and YJL070c overexpression.
