For Experiment 2, an analysis is shown of the congruency of target and foils. As with the prior figure, observers are shown in separate columns with the target functions in the top row and the foil functions in the bottom row. The new feature is to break down the target and foil functions by whether the target and foil are on the same side (congruent) or opposite sides (incongruent). There is a congruency effect for all conditions. The main point is that the reduced asymptote in the foil functions is found for both congruent and incongruent conditions.
