Retrograde Rhodamine dextran labeling of the arcuate neurons identified serotonergic neurons in the brainstem in Tph2LacZ/+ mice through colocalization of β-galactosidase staining and Rh-dextran fluorescence in serotonergic neurons of the brainstem.
