Predictive power for gene expression of the transcriptional model of A. thaliana inferred from the whole dataset (1,436 conditions) and the test model from 1,292 microarray experiments used as a training set. The left column shows the regression coefficient (R²) between the model and experimental profiles across the whole dataset for the five best predicted genes. The right column shows R² between the test model and the 144 experimental profiles used as the test set for the same five genes. In either case, correlation coefficients were highly significant.
