- 10-21 days after onset of symptoms. |

- Fever, exquisite tenderness, edema, marked leukocytosis with eosinophilia in many tropical cases. |

- Aspiration will yield pus. |
|
- > 90% cases present at this stage. |
Stage 3 |
- Bacteremia, toxic appearance, marked fluctuance. |
