(A) rts1Δ causes slow growth in bck2Δ cells. A series of 10-fold dilutions of cells of the indicated genotypes were grown at 30°C, 34°C, and 37°C. (B) rts1Δ causes a prolonged delay in bud emergence in bck2Δ cells. Cells were released from an α factor arrest at 30°C and the percentage of cells with buds was determined at 10 minute intervals.
