Migration of HeLa cells in the presence of platelets (Pl), thrombin (Th), eptifibatide (Ep), or RGDWE peptides (RGDWE). Cells were allowed to migrate for 8 hours at 37°C and 5% CO₂. Each data point is the mean of more than six micrographic fields using magnification of 20×. Pl+Th: in the presence of thrombin-activated platelets; Pl+Ep: thrombin-activated platelets treated with eptifibatide (Ep); RGDWE: HeLa cells were treated with RGDWE peptides to block αvβ3 integrin.
