Upper panel (A) shows typical examples of Ser523-phosphorylated 5-LOX (p5-LOX), total 5-LOX (both at the expected size of ~78 kDa), and β-actin (~ 42 kDa) immunoreactive bands.In the total homogenate, 5-LOX content did not differ between two groups but the p5-LOX content was elevated in the suicide samples (B).
