Contribution of the A domain of Aap to corneocyte adhesion for clinical isolates of S. epidermidis. Corneocyte adhesion of S. epidermidis isolates was blocked by pretreating corneocytes with 1 μM rAapA-Dom. The percentage of the reduction in the number of attached bacteria due to blocking is shown.
