Stimulation of cytokine production by CD4+ T cells upon neisserial infection. (A and B) CD4+ T cells were infected with N. meningitidis (Nm) or N. gonorrhoeae (Ng) in the presence of iCD3 antibody. (C and D) CD4+ T cells were prestimulated with IL-2 for 48 h before infection in the presence of anti-sCD3 antibody.
