Expression of viral proteinases in cells. BSR T7/5 cells were cotransformed with plasmids encoding IPS-1 and either enhanced green fluorescent protein (GFP) or proteinases of HRV1a, poliovirus (PV1), or hepatitis A virus (HAV). After 24 h cell extracts were prepared and fractionated by SDS-PAGE, and IPS-1 was detected by Western blot analysis.
