Table 5.

The Quality Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve Sensitivity, Specificity, and Weighted κ Values

Groups Random Value
of Sensitivity
Random Value
of Specificity
Sensitivity Specificity κ
1 0.36 0.64 0.61 0.93 0.52

1 and 2 0.50 0.50 0.76 0.82 0.57

1–3 0.56 0.44 0.82 0.75 0.57

1–4 0.67 0.33 0.90 0.61 0.52

The random values of sensitivity and specificity refer to that level of sensitivity and specificity that would be expected by chance. The six groups identified by the Quality Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve are: (1) caudate ≥ 9.8 and posterior vermis < 7.4 and amygdala < 5.7cm3; (2) caudate < 9.8 and posterior vermis < 6.2cm3; (3) caudate ≥ 9.8 and posterior vermis < 7.4 and amygdala ≥ 5.7cm3; (4) caudate < 9.8, posterior vermis ≥ 6.2, and superior temporal gyrus (STG) < 29.4cm3; (5) caudate ≥ 9.8 and posterior vermis ≥ 7.4cm3; and (6) caudate < 9.8, posterior vermis ≥ 6.2, and STG ≥ 29.4cm3.
