Cone angle of the major (θ₁) and minor (θ₂) axes fit to a linear function of SNR^-1 ($\mathrm{SNR}=N_A^{1∕2}\cdot {\mathrm{SNR}}_0$) for a typical white matter voxel (FA = 0.71 and 200 bootstrap samples). SNR₀ is measured using the non-weighted image. The equation of the line is shown as a function of x = SNR^-1. As SNR decreases, the cone angle increases in proportion to SNR^-1.
