Properties of ChAT+/GAD+ neurons resemble those of ChAT+ neurons rather than GAD+ neurons. BF neurons in which ChAT sequence is detected by RT-PCR resemble one another and stereotypical BF cholinergic neurons regardless of the detection of GAD sequence.
