Conserved binding site sequences are in boldface. Solid boxes highlight NRF-1 sites that are highly conserved in all three or at least two species. The underlined GCA is an invariant sequence for NRF-1 binding for Grin (this study) and for COX (Dhar et al., 2008) promoters.
