Figure 5. — Impact of specific nucleotides in the anticodon loop on the initial aminoacylation rates of tRNA^Gln. The third nucleotide of the tRNA^Gln anticodon G36, G37 and U38, were individually mutated to the corresponding nucleotides in tRNA^Glu2 (G36C, G37A, U38C) and assayed with both GluRS1 (white bars) and GluRS2 (black bars).
