Total PDYN mRNA expression in the caudate from postmortem brains grouped by genotype pattern. mRNA levels were measured by the quantitative solution hybridization RNase protection assay. Genotype patterns comprise the 3′UTR SNPs (rs910080, rs910079, and rs2235749, respectively). Analysis of variance showed significant difference in PDYN mRNA levels between subjects with different genotype patterns (main effect of genotype, F(2,37)=9.98, p<0.005).
