Effect of feeding sulindac and ibuprofen before performing the Langendorff procedure. Animals were fed either no drug, sulindac, or ibuprofen at 0.2 mg/day for 48 h before isolation of the heart for analysis on the Langendorff apparatus. Total LDH levels are shown after 45 min ischemia and 2 h of reperfusion.
