Abbreviations are as in Fig. 1. Microinjections of CPA, marked by vertical arrows, were applied ∼10–20 min after the blockades, when baseline levels of all variables stabilized (see Fig. 2). Note that VX reversed pressor and vasoconstrictor responses most often observed in Int group into depressor and vasodilatory responses. ADX + GX exaggerated the pressor and vasoconstrictor response. These exaggerated vasoconstrictor responses were virtually abolished following ADX + GX + VX and ADX + GX + VX + ATX.
