In vivo interaction of C/EBPβ and Daxx is not disrupted by SENP1. QT6 cells were transfected with the indicated combinations of plasmids encoding FLAG-C/EBPβ (5 μg), HA-Daxx (5 μg), and increasing amounts of FLAG-SENP1. Cells were lysed after 24 h, and protein extracts were immunoprecipitated with anti-HA antibodies, followed by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting with FLAG antibodies (top panel). The asterisk marks the immunoglobulin heavy chain of the anti-HA antibody. Co-precipitated C/EBPβ is marked by an arrowhead. Analyses of the crude protein extracts with HA- and FLAG-antibodies demonstrate comparable expression levels of the proteins in the different samples.
