FIGURE 6. — The effects of LNMMA, LNAC, and l-Arg on UV-induced protein synthesis inhibition. HaCaT cells were treated with LNMMA (100 μm), LNAC (25 mm), or l-Arg (50 mm) and then irradiated with UVB (50 mJ/cm²). The cells were pulse-labeled with [³⁵S]Met/Cys, and ³⁵S incorporation into proteins was determined by trichloroacetic acid precipitation and expressed as a percentage of ³⁵S incorporation into the sample without treatment.
