Animals were injected with FITC-labelled bacteria (M. luteus or E. coli) and sacrificed after various times. Tt-CATL immune detection was realized using a Texas-Red labelled secondary antibody. An accumulation of Tt-CATL immunopositive granular amœbocytes is observed at the injection site. A. Five minutes after bacterial injection, a few granular amœbocytes only are observed in cœlomic cavities near the injection site. B, C.
