Rck/p54 overexpression increases EGFP-APP chimera mRNA levels in SH-SY5Y cells in a 52sce – dependent manner. SH-SY5Y were transfected with EGFP-APPwt or EGFP-APPΔ52sce plasmids as shown. Eighteen hours after transfection, 50nM TAT-RCK (■) or TAT-GFP (☒) was transduced into the same cells. eGFP-APP chimera mRNA levels were quantified by qPCR. The amount of signal, n = 3, was quantified and normalized to the amount present in untransduced control cells (□), ± S.E.M. **:> p<0.01;*: p<0.05; N.S. = not significant (p > 0.1) (two-tailed, homoscedasic T-test).
