Time-resolved thrust coefficient produced by the articulated fin for three oscillation periods at St = 0.4, φ = 120°. The primary frequency in the thrust signal is twice that of the frequency of oscillation of the fin. There is a slight asymmetry between the upstroke and the downstroke as well as small cycle-to-cycle variations
