Stopped-flow kinetics of peroxynitrite decay in the presence of CBS. Peroxynitrite (50 μM) was mixed with increasing concentrations of Fe(III)CBS in phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.4, DTPA 0.1 mM) at 37.0 ± 0.1 °C. The absorbance at 290 nm was recorded for 10 s and the apparent rate constant of peroxynitrite decay was determined from the initial slope. The results are the means ± standard deviation (n ≥ 10) of a representative experiment.
