Induction of hIL-1β mediates inflammation-related gene expression in the mouse hippocampus. qRT-PCR analysis revealed significant upregulation of all genes (p<0.05; n= 9–12 per experimental group) in FIV-Cre-injected relative to FIV-GFP-injected IL-1βXAT mice. One hippocampal sample from each mouse was analyzed. Expression of each gene was normalized to ribosomal 18s housekeeping gene. The graph represents normalized ratios of FIV-Cre mice relative to FIV-GFP-injected mice.
