Minocycline (25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg ◆ gavages) significantly potentiated morphine (4 mg/kg, ■) analgesia, whilst saline treatment had no effect (○). Minocycline potentiated the onset, peak and duration of analgesia (A) as well as the total area under the analgesia curve (B).
