¹²⁵I-Labeled HA binding

EDTA-isolated Hyal2 overexpressing (BB16Hy2+) cells and control BB16 cells were incubated with protease inhibitors and ¹²⁵I-labeled HA at concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 8.0 μg/ml with either 100 μg/ml unlabeled HA or 1% PBS-bovine serum albumin for 20 min at room temperature. Radioactivity associated with the pellet was taken as a measure of bound ¹²⁵I-labeled HA. Total and specific binding was calculated as well as the equilibrium dissociation constant (K_d) and maximum specific binding of labeled HA (B_max). Means ± S.E. of six experiments in each group are shown.
