Slit lamp examination of Slc4a11+/+ (A and B) and Slc4a11−/− (C and D) mice. Using diffuse illumination, both Slc4a11+/+ and Slc4a11−/− mice had normal appearing anterior segments without evidence of corneal opacification or edema (A and C).
