Low-temperature UV-vis spectra in MeTHF at −128 °C. Spectrum 1: 2a with absorption at 337 nm (4,100 M⁻¹cm⁻¹). Spectrum 2: [(L^EIm)Cu^I(CO)]⁺ without excess CO. Spectrum 3: partial formation of superoxo species [(L^EIm)Cu^II(O₂^·−)]⁺ (2b^S) with absorption 440 nm, and the peroxo complex 2b^P. Spectrum 4:2b^P with absorption 445 nm (2,500 M⁻¹cm⁻¹), 535 nm (11,000 M⁻¹cm⁻¹), and 610 nm (8,100 M⁻¹cm⁻¹). Spectrum 5: Thermal decomposition product.
