Disruption of microtubules by nocodazole treatment leads to substantial displacement of CCAR1 but not caprin-1 from G3BP-positive stress granules. Control or nocodazole-treated HeLa cells were fixed and immunostained for either CCAR1 (A) or caprin-1 (B) (green) and G3BP (red).
