Relative sensitivity of the ultra-violet (UV), short (S), medium (M), and long (L) wavelength-sensitive cones. The spectrum of the individual cone pigments is normalized to 1 after the relative absorbance spectra for the carotenoid pigments found in each cone type are incorporated.
