Inhibition of BHK cell attachment with soluble peptides to surfaces presenting FN10. Suspended cells were treated with cyclic-RGDfC, GRGDS, PHSRN, GRDGS, and HRPSN peptides at concentrations ranging from 5 μM to 1 mM and then allowed to attach to the FN10 surfaces at densities of 0.005% (RGD) or 0.001% (PHSRN). The number of cells that attached to the monolayers is shown for each concentration of inhibitor relative to the control surface that included no inhibitor. Each data point represents the average of three independent experiments with error bars omitted for clarity.
