Immunofluorescent detection of survivin expression. (A) Human survivin was detected in human gliomas (U87MG, U373MG, Kings, U118MG, A172 and No. 10) using primary rabbit polyclonal antibodies and FITC-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG. The nucleus was stained with DAPI. HeLa cells expressed high levels of survivin and were used as positive control. A total of 30 different squares from each stained sample were analyzed by confocal microscopy. (B) All data were normalized to the expression level demonstrated by HeLa cells and presented as % of integral intensities ± SD. *p<0.05.
