Stop/go folding of the major 2-disulfide intermediates of LDTI. IIa, IIb, and IIc were isolated, lyophilized, and dissolved in the absence (Control −) or presence of oxidizing agent (GSSG) to reinitiate the folding reaction. Folding intermediates were subsequently trapped by acidification over time and analyzed by RP-HPLC.
