Schematic description of the discrete blobs model representing the case of a dilute PS buoy layer that is only marginally above the pancake-brush transition. The first adsorption layer is made of a melt of A monomers (PMMA). The second layer is made the B blocks (PS) that are arranged in two shells of bubbles. The diameter of a typical bubble, D, is of the same order as the typical distance between the B blocks.
