Very high-resolution panchromatic imagery (Quickbird 2) facilitates qualitative analyses of conditions and management because landscape features and infrastructure are recognizable to all informants. The arrow at the lower right indicates a well-worn track void of shrubs from regular access to this campsite of brigade 2 (see Fig. S1).
