Treatment of AJ02-NM0 cells with Nutlin-3 stabilizes p53 and leads to the phosphorylation of p53 at Ser-15. AJ02-NM0 cells were treated with Nutlin-3 (20µM) or 5-FU (100µM) for the indicated lengths of time. Nuclear extracts were then prepared and immunoblotted for p53 or p53 phosphorylated at Ser-15. Immunoblots were also probed with actin, which served as a loading control.
