Membrane localization of HxcQV5 secretin in E. coli. Membrane fractions were collected after centrifugation on a density sucrose gradient and their protein content analyzed under denaturing SDS-PAGE conditions. HxcQV5 multimers and monomers were detected with HxcQ antibodies. IM fractions were defined by NADH activity and TolR detection.
