GdnHCl-EDTA treatment does not affect Lhs1p activity. Steady state ATPase activity of 0.25 μm Kar2p (K) in the absence or presence of 1 μm of the soluble J-domain of Sec63p (J) and 1, 0.5, 0.25, or 0.13 μm untreated Lhs1p or GdnHCl-treated Lhs1p.
