Fd-mediated cyt c reductase activities of FNRS and FNRL-PC. FNRL/S was mixed with 2.5–40 μm Fd from T. elongatus and 40 μm cyt c in 150 mm KP buffer pH 8 at 25 °C. The reaction was started by injection of 400 μm NADPH. The data were normalized to an FNRS/L concentration of 0.1 μm. For FNRS (open circles) and FNRL-PC (open squares), the Km(Fd) values were 28 ± 2 μm and 47 ± 6 μm, respectively. The turnover number kcat for FNRS and FNRL-PC were 154 ± 6 s−1 and 144 ± 12 s−1, respectively.
